Museo de Arte Popular Rancho Jaguar
Located about 25 minutes north of San Miguel de Allende near the town of Montecillo de la Milpa a little jewel can be found. The Museo de Arte Popular Rancho Jaguar founded by long time Mexico resident Jennifer Haas houses an eclectic array of some of the finest folk art from Mexico and Latin America.
Grand masters Angelica Vasquez, Heron Martinez, Josefina Aguilar are just a few of the artists showcased. Exhibits range from religious art, ceramics, textiles, photography and many other genres. There is also a small library one can browse and exotic desert grounds invite causal strolling. Rancho Jaguar is an experience not to be missed.
